Responsibilities
Providing legal support to teams assessing cybersecurity practices and requirements, including supplier cybersecurity programs
Responding to cybersecurity and privacy incidents
Drafting and negotiating data protection and cybersecurity agreements
Assessing cyber security regulations and working with policy and compliance teams
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience (either at a law firm, government agency, non-governmental organization, and/or in-house) in cybersecurity or privacy law
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity laws, and regulatory and other guidance and standards
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred
Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to lead, take action, and provide direction in the face of ambiguity
Experience quickly issue-spotting, analyzing, and clearly communicating privacy advice on complex legal issues
Ability to get results in diverse, fast paced environments
Ability to multi-task across diverse business units and geographical boundaries
Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
Ability to partner at all levels of the organization
