Responsibilities

Conduct Quality, Routine, Type, and Special tests on power transformers and substations in compliance with IEEE standards

Lead daily coordination of test activities with technicians to meet production and delivery schedules

Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during in-process and final testing

Validate test results with Quality, Engineering, and customer representatives as required

Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the high-voltage lab and testing equipment

Provide training and support to Electrical Test Technicians and Associate Engineers

Ensure all test practices align with internal policies and customer specifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

2 years of experience testing power transformers or similar high-voltage equipment

Familiarity with transformer testing procedures and industry standards (IEEE C57 series)

Ability to lift tools and equipment and work at heights of approximately 30 ft+ as needed

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and located within, or willing to relocate to, a reasonable commute to the assigned plant

Solid understanding of electrical theory and testing methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in using computers and learning new software tools

Ability to collaborate across departments and manage technical documentation
