ServiceNow Architect
Virtelligence is seeking a Part-Time experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across enterprise environments. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and Discovery, along with the ability to partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, well-architected ServiceNow solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and configuration of ServiceNow solutions with a focus on ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and Discovery
Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, translating them into functional ServiceNow configurations and workflows
Design and maintain a robust CMDB architecture, including data models, relationships, normalization, and governance
Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate and reliable infrastructure and application data ingestion
Implement and enhance ITOM capabilities, including Event Management, Service Mapping, and Operational Intelligence, as applicable
Design and support ITAM processes, including hardware and software asset lifecycle management and license compliance
Ensure ServiceNow solutions align with platform best practices, performance standards, and security requirements
Collaborate with developers, administrators, and integration teams to ensure cohesive platform design and successful delivery
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and documentation to support knowledge transfer and long-term platform sustainability
Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure solutions meet business and operational needs
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect in enterprise environments
Strong hands-on expertise with ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and Discovery modules
Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow configurations and solutions
Solid understanding of CMDB data models, relationships, normalization, and governance
Experience configuring and troubleshooting ServiceNow Discovery
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CTA, CSA, CIS – ITOM, CIS – ITAM)
Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems and enterprise tools
Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices for scalability, performance, and security
Experience supporting IT service management and operational workflows in complex organizations
