The role involves creating procedures, performing testing, analyzing results, and identifying design defects for embedded systems designed to operate in rugged environments.

Responsibilities
Determine conditions and sequence under which tests are conducted
Develop test plans and procedures
Perform verifications as described by test plans and procedures to ensure products meet requirements
Analyze and interpret test data
Prepare technical reports for production, sales, and/or customer consumption
Perform initial debug of failed test items and collaborate with technical personnel to resolve issues or characterize defects
Maintain test equipment and software test libraries
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field. Associate's degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Computer proficiency with a high level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to organize and complete work with minimal supervision
Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI
Preferred
Understanding of circuit theory and analysis
Familiarity with various types of testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, analyzers, multimeters)
Familiarity with designing for test
Knowledge of electronic assemblies and computer functionality
Familiarity with Linux
Prior experience with embedded systems
Familiarity with Bash scripting, Python, or similar programming languages
