Responsibilities

Contribute to a number of challenging projects related to advanced capabilities for space systems
Be mentored by a technical staff member
Work within a project team to develop new system concepts and technologies
Testing and characterization of electro-optical components for a space payload
Automation of high-speed instrumentation data collection and analysis
Running modeling and simulation tools
Operating optical systems in lab experiments
Development and implementation of data analysis algorithms

Required

Candidates should have a strong academic background and be working toward a BS, MS, or PhD in mathematics, science, engineering, or related disciplines
Candidates should also demonstrate strong communications skills and the ability to work proactively and independently
Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
U.S. citizenship is required
