Events + Engagement Manager (Contract)
Blue Daring is a Chicago-based team of creative strategists looking for an experienced Events + Engagement Manager to handle in-person activations for their key partners. The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing multiple B2B events and trade shows while building processes to empower future collaborations.

Responsibilities
Secure and manage B2B event and trade show opportunities, including sponsorships and negotiations
Manage multiple events at the same time without dropping details
Work with event organizers to shape the strongest possible presence and experience
Partner with creative teams to define booth concepts, materials, and on-site execution
Work closely with sales teams so they’re prepared, aligned, and supported at each event
Own logistics end to end: shipping, setup, breakdown, return, timing, and budget
Be the point person. Communicate clearly. Follow through. Solve problems before they become problems
Build and document trade show processes, playbooks, and checklists as you go
Support broader communication and brand activations when needed, primarily through events
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience managing B2B events and trade shows
Proven ability to run multiple events at once
Comfortable working directly with trade show organizers, vendors, and sales teams
A communications professional at heart—clear, concise, and thoughtful
Strong project management instincts and excellent attention to detail
A self-starter with good judgment, follow-through, and a positive, grounded presence
Preferred
Experience in creative environments is a plus
