Research Data Analyst
CHEManager International is seeking a highly motivated bioinformatic researcher to support large-scale data-intensive translational research at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. The role involves developing and implementing analytical pipelines and analyzing multi-omics datasets to aid in understanding cancer mechanisms and therapeutic strategies.
Responsibilities
Development and implementation of automated & scalable analytical pipelines on high-performance computer clusters and cloud infrastructure
Integrative analysis of multi-omics datasets (e.g., bulk RNA-seq, whole exome sequencing, whole genome sequencing, single-cell RNA and TCR sequencing, proteomics, etc.)
Analyze data generated by lab members and assist in project design, data interpretation, data presentation, publications, and grant applications
Qualification
Required
Highly motivated bioinformatic researcher
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Experience in large-scale data-intensive translational research
Development and implementation of automated & scalable analytical pipelines
Experience with high-performance computer clusters and cloud infrastructure
Integrative analysis of multi-omics datasets (e.g., bulk RNA-seq, whole exome sequencing, whole genome sequencing, single-cell RNA and TCR sequencing, proteomics)
Ability to analyze data generated by lab members
Assistance with project design, data interpretation, data presentation, publications, and grant applications
Preferred
Prior experience with analysis of single-cell sequencing data
