Responsibilities
Develop, transfer, optimize, and sustain injection molding and automation processes for production
Serve as the primary interface between U.S. manufacturing operations and China-based R&D and process engineering teams
Own and maintain end-to-end injection molding and automation process flows, including documentation and controls
Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and training materials
Lead process optimization initiatives focused on yield improvement, defect reduction, scrap reduction, and cycle-time optimization
Troubleshoot complex process issues involving molding parameters, automation sequencing, materials behavior, and equipment interactions
Define process parameters, engineering studies, and validation strategies in compliance with ISO 13485 requirements
Support execution of process validation activities and sustainment of validated manufacturing processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Polymer, or related field)
Strong understanding of injection molding processes and automated manufacturing systems
Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
Experience analyzing and resolving complex cross-disciplinary process issues (molding, automation, materials, equipment)
Proficiency in English
Familiarity with ISO 13485, process validation, and regulated manufacturing environments
Mandarin Chinese speaking ability
Preferred
Experience working with China-based R&D or manufacturing teams
Experience developing control plans and process flow documentation for automated manufacturing lines
Experience leading yield improvement, defect reduction, and cycle-time optimization projects
Experience defining process parameters, DOE studies, and validation documentation for regulated production
