The role involves initiating technical activities, planning experiments, operating processing equipment, and conducting sample testing, while ensuring safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Initiate and perform technical activities leading to new or improved products, processes, or technologies at a program level
Plan and execute small batch experiments with polymers, ensuring safety and accuracy
Operate small-scale processing equipment such as mixers and hot presses safely and efficiently
Conduct sample testing including tensile & elongation, DSC, DMA, rheometry, and other analytical techniques
Document experimental data and observations accurately, prepare reports, and present findings orally
Qualification
Required
Experience with laboratory research and experimental procedures in polymer or material sciences
Ability to operate laboratory equipment safely and effectively
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in data collection and analysis
Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration
Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
