Project Controls Professional III

They are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Professional III to support their nuclear development organization, focusing on planning, developing, and implementing schedule and cost strategies for complex projects.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers, nuclear development staff, contractors, and stakeholders to gather data for accurate scheduling and cost identification
Assist with development of project scope and work with assigned project teams
Prepare Level 1–5 detailed project implementation schedules using Primavera P6
Integrate project cost estimates and schedules to produce logic-tied, resource-loaded cost flow projections
Analyze schedule deviations and report on activities with potential impact on cost/schedule
Prepare reports comparing baseline approved schedules to progress schedules, including critical path analysis, resource and cost loading, manpower, submittals, and recovery plans
Evaluate real-time cost and schedule performance; recommend corrective actions to mitigate overruns
Work with Project Managers to develop accurate Estimates to Completion (ETC) for predictable project performance
Enter and manage project data, ensuring configuration control during project approval and execution
Independently perform consistency reviews, document findings, and recommend improvements
Attend project challenge and approval meetings, safety meetings, and staff meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree and 8 years of project controls/project management experience in an industrial environment
AA degree and 9 years of project controls/project management experience
High School diploma or GED and 11 years of project controls/project management experience
Formal training on Primavera P6 or equivalent project management software (required)
Expertise in Earned Value Management methodology and project controls
Detailed variance analyses and cost/schedule reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Primavera P6
Strong administrative, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication; comfortable presenting to groups
Analytical, mathematical, and data-checking skills; ability to establish priorities and understand interrelationships among project activities
Self-starter with ability to work independently
U.S. Citizenship Required
Preferred
Earned Value Management Certification (PMP, PBA, SP, CAPM, or RMP)
Experience in large-scale new construction projects in Power Generation, Heavy Industrial, Flex/Hybrid, or major manufacturing facilities
Experience supporting large, complex projects with budgets of $25M+
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Asset Suite, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Workday
