They are currently searching for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support two busy litigators in personal injury defense and Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation defense.

Responsibilities
Type, proofread, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and scheduling of depositions, hearings, and meetings
Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Assist with trial preparation and document production
Additional projects and duties as required
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar legal support role
Familiarity with Pennsylvania court systems and e-filing procedures
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Prior experience in a legal setting is required
Preferred
Prior work in personal injury and/or workers' compensation defense
Experience supporting multiple attorneys
Familiarity with WCAIS
