Security Analyst/ IAM Analyst
Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for an IT Security Compliance Analyst/IAM Analyst to add to their growing team. This role focuses on supporting and improving information technology systems and applications, conducting analysis, and ensuring systems align with business requirements.
Responsibilities
Using independent judgement to manage user accounts, including creating, modifying, and removing user access to systems and applications, ensuring they align with security policies and business needs
Implementing, enforcing and reviewing security policies and procedures for user access and system security
Conducting regular security audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities
Establishing and maintaining accurate documentation of IAM (Identity Access Management) processes, procedures, and configurations
Working cross-functionally with other teams, including service delivery, network, security, and business stakeholders, to implement and maintain IAM and audit solutions
Generating reports on IAM activities and monitoring system access to identify and address potential security risks
Supporting internal as well as various business units and external audits by providing necessary data and documentation; recommending changes to policy or procedure as required or necessary
Creating and maintaining documentation, policy revisions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to data privacy and SOX Policies
Keeping abreast of changes in data privacy laws and regulations and implementing necessary updates
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field a plus
2+ experience in identity and access management or a related field
Excellent communication and project administration skills
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to mitigate risk and effectively communicate with a variety of constituents to help them understand the process
Familiarity with Identity Access Management concepts, best practices and Software (e.g. Active Directory) as well as standards such as ISO27001
Proficient in using spreadsheets and word processing software, such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word (experience with Macros ideal)
Worked on or with teams to develop compliance programs
In-depth knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and industry-specific requirements
Must be willing to learn and grow personally and professionally, ability to take constructive criticism
