Facility Maint Engineer 3 - 116th ACW Robins AFB
Team Georgia Careers is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facility Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at the 116th at Robins ARB. The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support to engineers, assisting with project planning, research, and documentation to ensure successful project execution.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Assist engineers with various tasks related to the design, development, and testing of projects
Prepare and organize technical documents, reports, schematics, and presentations
Conduct research to gather data and information needed for new projects, proposals, and project specifications
Assist with the creation and modification of engineering drawings using CAD software
Help ensure project activities and documents comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations
Coordinate communication between engineering teams and other departments to meet project goals and deadlines
Participate in field inspections and data collection, as required
Qualification
Required
Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or 5-7 Years in related multi-discipline fields
Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Projects, scheduling software)
Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles and practices
Excellent problem-solving, mathematical, and data analysis skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and take direction from senior staff
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
Must pass a pre-employment background check (which includes criminal records check, driver's history and verification of work history) and a post-hire federal background investigation
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Three years of related experience
Preferred
Previous internship or related work experience in an engineering support role
Proficiency with other relevant software, such as MATLAB or SolidWorks
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
Five (5) years work experience in construction management
Job-related experience with Auto CAD and ARC GIS
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record will be required
