The role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation equipment while providing technical assistance to maintain production machines.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automated systems and processes, including robotics, to optimize manufacturing processes

Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to integrate automation solutions into existing manufacturing systems to improve efficiency, quality, and safety

Develop and conduct testing protocols to ensure the proper functionality of automated systems

Validate and troubleshoot automation solutions to meet quality and safety standards

Create and maintain documentation for automation systems, including technical specifications, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Work closely with cross functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and production personnel, to implement automation solutions

Stay current with advancements in automation technology and recommend upgrades or changes as needed
