Responsibilities
Test electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment
Perform preventive maintenance inspections
Repair or replace defective parts
Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license and acceptable driver's license record check is required
Experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating imaging medical imaging devices including CT a plus
Have at least 7+ years' experience in an imaging role
Ability to mentor and lead Jr. Imaging Engineers
Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
Prior knowledge of renowned medical equipment, preferably GE, Philips, Siemens, Carestream, etc
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
Significant factory-level training of imaging equipment contributing to the effectiveness of the organization
