Responsibilities
Utilize databases and internet research to compile lists of prospective acquisition targets
Create and execute outbound outreach strategies that result in engaging business owners/CEOs in a discussion to sell. Methods may include cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, in-person visits and more
Conduct introductory conversations with owners/CEOs of prospective businesses and build rapport
Qualify deal opportunities you generate against our investment criteria
Present market research and new investment opportunities to internal stakeholders
Complete ad hoc projects which may focus on sourcing workflows, pipeline analysis, or Alpine’s investing strategy
Participate in a variety of firm-wide activities and team-bonding events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree – interest in business, entrepreneurship, finance, or sales
2+ years of experience in direct deal sourcing or business development with a proven track record of success
Strong communication skills and professionalism
Curious mindset, desire to learn, and ability to implement feedback
Self-starter that thrives in ambiguous environments
