Responsibilities
Produce detailed electrical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software
Integrate electrical design concepts into complete, coordinated project plans
Collaborate with engineers and architects to gather specifications, calculations, and design requirements
Review, revise, and update drawings based on project feedback while maintaining version control
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all project drawings and records
Assist with material takeoffs and support cost estimation efforts
Conduct occasional site visits to verify field conditions and measurements
Uphold high standards of quality, professionalism, and teamwork
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or technical certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in electrical drafting and design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM experience strongly preferred)
Solid understanding of electrical systems, architectural plans, and engineering principles
Knowledge of applicable building codes and industry regulations
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently
Preferred
BIM experience strongly preferred
