Responsibilities

Prepare contract plan packages, approval documents, and analyses in accordance with agency requirements

Lead design tasks such as roadway geometry, management, maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) scheme, stormwater management and drainage, etc. and provide technical guidance to junior engineer and technical staff

Assists Project Manager as a point of contact for day-to-day project coordination items

Required

5-7 years experience in transportation, highway and street design, or closely related engineering

Bachelor's degree (B. S., or B.A.) in Civil Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years related experience in general civil engineering with an emphasis on highway/roadway design, as well as stormwater management/watershed analysis

Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) required

NY Professional Engineer (P.E.) required

Understanding of civil engineering principles with experience in highway/roadway engineering, site grading, drainage and utility design, stormwater management, maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT)

Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of technical drawings and identifying discrepancies or conflicts within the documents

Proficiency with AutoCAD with Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRodas, Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Studio

Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple assignments in a dynamic company environment

Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required
