Support in-house counsel to large Mitchell-Lama complex

Prepare, file, and serve landlord/tenant pleadings, including notices, petitions, motions, stipulations, and affidavits

Draft routine correspondence and legal documents for attorney review

Litigation support

Track court dates, deadlines, and adjournments; manage case calendars

Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files

Qualification

Required

2+ years experience handling landlord/tenant matters required

Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Office required, YARDI and Westlaw a definite plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be a team player, highly organized and have the ability to multi-task
