Responsibilities
Maintains work areas of offices and industrial buildings to keep them clean and orderly
Uses janitorial supplies, maintains restroom areas, and removes waste material
Performs special cleaning projects as assigned
Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing duties
Duties may include dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored following use
Replenish products and supplies in assigned area
Alert appropriate personnel concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems
Notify supervisor of need to order various cleaning supplies and equipment
Remove and dispose of debris or trash
May perform basic maintenance and repair duties, including outside grounds work as required
Entry-level support role
Performs routine tasks as directed and under close supervision
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-1 year general experience
1 year functional experience strongly desired
Possesses moderate understanding of general aspects of job
Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment
Has little or no role in decision-making
Works under close direction of senior personnel in the functional area
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work
Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks
Be prepared to pass a drug test
Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check
