Responsibilities
Lead civil engineering design for commercial and industrial land development projects, including:
Grading and drainage design
Storm water management and detention systems
Floodplain mitigation
Water, sewer, and utility infrastructure
Overall site planning
Collaborate with an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to research and interpret municipal codes and development regulations across multiple jurisdictions
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and internal teams to deliver cohesive and efficient designs
Prepare plans, calculations, and reports to support permitting and approval processes
Participate in design review meetings and provide input to improve constructability and design efficiency
Contribute positively to a collaborative, service-oriented team culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
5–10 years of experience in land development and site design
Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility design
Experience with commercial and industrial site planning
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively
Passion for community service and a desire to make a positive impact
Preferred
Additional licensure in Oklahoma and Louisiana is a plus
