Responsibilities
Lead the design, integration, and transformation of the finance data ecosystem
Act as a technical owner and product owner
Drive work forward without heavy administrative guidance
Communicate effectively and ask clarifying questions before designing solutions
Lead technical teams and work cross-functionally
Focus on integration architecture and API strategy
Utilize tools such as MuleSoft or equivalent
Manage data center migration experience
Think long-term architecture vision and possess customer-facing skills
Qualification
Required
Finance and/or Insurance Domain Experience is essential
Strong hands-on coding background
Ability to act as a technical owner
Experience as a senior solution architect
Comfortable serving as a technical product owner
Can independently drive work forward without heavy administrative guidance
Strong communicator who asks 'why' before designing solutions
Able to lead technical teams and work cross-functionally
Integration architecture (greater breadth than current team)
API strategy
Tools such as MuleSoft or equivalent
Data center migration experience
Ability to think long-term architecture vision
Customer-facing skills, especially when requirements are unclear
Ability with business to ask why and what they need, be able to coordinate with the appropriate groups to move things along, strong documentation skills
The ability to design, code, and work alongside developers as a tech lead/architect is weighted more for this role
Integration Architecture/APIs – Best practices, when to use what
Microsoft stack knowledge
Architecture pillar balance – understanding on app arch (strong understanding), Infrastructure arch, Security arch (working with Security Architecture), and Data Architecture & Governance (Moderate) would be the key pillars
Strong documentation skills – Ideally have worked on Data Center Migrations taking into account Enterprise Level planning going into technical questions across teams
Preferred
Data architecture experience (to cover potential future gaps)
Experience with AI governance / AI architecture
Internal ChatGPT implementations
