They are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and organized Certified Medical Assistant to join their healthcare team, responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks while ensuring the utmost patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Check vital signs

Review medical history

Address chief complaints

Administer medications and vaccinations as directed

Perform EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic tests

Assist with telehealth visits

Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

Maintain and update electronic health records (EHRs)

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages

Handle correspondence, billing, and medical documentation

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus

Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Compassionate and professional demeanor

Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations

Preferred

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is strongly preferred

CPR / AED preferred
