Responsibilities
Act as the voice of procurement in product development initiatives
Lead early supplier involvement, DFM/A reviews, and tooling readiness
Own sourcing execution from concept through SOP
Support program cost tracking, BOM reviews, and post-launch cost reductions
Conduct global commodity market analysis and supplier benchmarking
Provide regular updates to leadership on sourcing progress and supplier health
Up to 20% domestic and international travel
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
7+ years of advanced strategic sourcing experience in automotive or manufacturing
Proven experience managing global supplier relationships and commodity strategies
Strong technical background partnering with engineering and product development teams
Expertise in cost modeling, market analysis, and supplier negotiations
