Responsibilities
Manage, coordinate, and oversee execution of Medicaid IT solution implementation projects
Facilitate weekly project status meetings; draft, finalize, and submit weekly project status reports
Collaborate with State-employed Project Managers to align project schedules, deliverables, and governance
Ensure effective and timely communication across project teams and stakeholders
Assess project health, monitor risks, and escalate issues as necessary
Facilitate risk and issue meetings; recommend and track mitigation strategies
Coordinate closely with other Project Managers across parallel implementations
Oversee access requests and compliance with State security policies
Support CMS Streamlined Modular Certification (SMC) reviews (Operational Readiness and Certification Reviews)
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of project management experience
At least 4 years of experience coordinating or managing Medicaid IT projects (e.g., MMIS enhancements or system implementation)
PMP Certification (required)
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, project governance, and risk management
Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
