Egan Company is looking for motivated students for their IT Systems and Support Intern position as part of the Information Technology team. Interns will gain real-world experience while contributing to projects and providing support for IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with various devices.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the completion of the intern-driven project

Provide top-notch customer service by visiting jobsites and customer sites regularly

Respond to, diagnose, research, and manage incoming help desk requests

Support PCs, ChromeOS, VMware, Horizon View Clients, Servers, and Networking

Assist with server upgrades and maintenance

Participate in network management and monitoring

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year IT-related degree program, such as systems support, computer networking, cybersecurity, or computer science

Must be able to work as an individual contributor and as part of a team

Must have excellent verbal communication skills

Possess the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms

Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with end users and vendors

Strong organizational skills to deal with customer needs and competing priorities

Must have reliable transportation to travel between offices and jobsites, and possess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Preferred

Familiarity with Google Workspace, ChromeOS, Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, and PC hardware, TCP/IP, and networking
