SER.O.YA is a New York-based ready-to-wear label focused on crafting timeless designs. They are currently seeking eager interns to assist in the design and production teams, involving responsibilities such as creating tech packs, maintaining fabric libraries, and supporting the development process.

Responsibilities

Assist in day-to-day operations of the design and production teams
Accurately specing garments and logging them into tech packs
Exposure to creating and updating tech packs
Maintaining bulk approval, fabric, and trim library. Creating flat sketches on Adobe Illustrator and coloring CADS
Observe the development process from design development to bulk production
Create packages for the team to be sent to factories and help track incoming packages
Maintain order of the design room
Fixing garments that are missing trims or sequins
Running errands to go to vendors or trim stores
Steam garments and organize design racks when necessary

Required

Must live in the New York City Metro area
New graduates or current students are welcome
Strong willingness to learn and improve
Must be responsible, team-worker, reliable, and have a positive and can-do attitude
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Professional, pleasant attitude, and proactive
Adaptability to handle multiple projects and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel
Proficient in creating flats and CADS on Adobe Illustrator
Animal lover (we have an office puppy)

Preferred

Knowledge in embroidery and embellishment is a plus
Experience Specing and measuring garments is a plus
