The Lighting Designer/Engineer Intern will assist in project development phases, conduct energy calculations, produce construction documents, and support project managers in the implementation of LED lighting upgrades.

Responsibilities

Assist in all aspects of the project development phase – including site visits, building audits

Energy calculations in relation to lighting upgrades

Produce detailed construction documents using CAD for LED lighting upgrades

Support material procurement and construction management staff during implementation of lighting upgrades

Field verify proper installation and implementation of LED lighting upgrades

Required

Pursuing a BSEE, preferably a sophomore (2nd year), or junior (3rd year)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to travel for field work

CAD experience is helpful but not required
