The Mechanical Engineer Co-Op position offers students hands-on experience in process development, assembly, testing, and collaboration with the product development team.

Working on process development projects from large-scale modeling to individual work cell design
Hands-on testing in the R&D Lab and shop area
Data collection, processing, and analysis, and many more exciting and challenging experiences
Assembly, testing, debugging, and documentation for mechanical fixtures and devices

Root cause analysis
Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
R&D processes

Assisting in machining/assembling both test parts with new designs and production parts for production
Working with the product development team to define both product features and process requirements to align the assembly process with the design process
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
Sophomore (fall 2025) or higher level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0
You must have housing and transportation
The position is required to work on-site daily in our Alpharetta office
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills while working with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and practical understanding of mechanical design
Ability to take a proactive hands-on approach to problem identification, prototyping, iterative design, validation testing, and troubleshooting
