Responsibilities

Perform analysis, maintenance, programming and support work on modules of existing systems
Develop web applications or websites
Serve as agency website manager/developer
Write code in scripting or authoring languages
Manage multiple accounts, connecting to a handful of separate servers
Use various computer platforms: Command Line Interfaces (CLI), Secure Shell (SSH) applications, file transfer protocol (FTP) programs, and content management systems (CMS)
Develop website sites and HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Required

Five (5) years of professional experience in programming, systems programming or computer analysis
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and one (1) year of the above-mentioned professional experience
Possession of a Master's degree in an information technology field
All U.S. degrees and transcripts must be from an accredited college or university
All foreign degrees and transcripts must be evaluated for accreditation by a recognized evaluation service by the closing date of this posting
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Selected candidates must be authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship, and Immigration Services regulations

Preferred

Candidate should be able to manage multiple accounts, connecting to a handful of separate servers, and using various computer platforms: Command Line Interfaces (CLI) like PowerShell, Secure Shell (SSH) applications like Putty, file transfer protocol (FTP) programs like Filezilla, and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress
Must have experience in development of website sites and HTML, CSS, JavaScript
