YouTheFan is a premier destination for fan merchandise and collectibles, and they are seeking a Production Artist to join their operations team. The Production Artist will work independently to execute new designs in product development using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, managing production files and making necessary changes as team branding evolves.

Responsibilities

Execute new designs in product development

Utilize computer software, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, to design and generate mass quantities of production files for sports-licensed products

Manage production files and be responsible for making changes to product files and images

Required

Experience in the work field with 'Pre-Press' design and production desired but not required

Bachelor's degree desire but not required. More important to have the experience

Must be proficient in Adobe programs, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop

Attention to Detail and Quality Control are at the top of the list

This role requires repetitive work – designing the same product for 150+ different sports teams

We need a high standard of work, quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality

Strong understanding of Design Principles (spacing, balance, composition, layout, text treatment)

Communication Skills (communicating with domestic and international factories on per-project basis)

Independent Worker / Takes initiative to complete tasks to meet deadline without needing to be told

Knowledge of NFL, MLB, NHL and NCAA teams is helpful
