Program Director
The Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence is seeking a Program Director to provide leadership and oversight for member services and statewide programs. This role involves developing and implementing programs that support victim-survivors of domestic and sexual violence, supervising program staff, and collaborating with community partners.

Responsibilities
Serve as a member of the NCEDSV leadership team
Develop, implement and direct statewide programs and projects of NCEDSV in response to member program and community needs
Recruit, supervise, and evaluate program department staff to ensure successful implementation of statewide programs
Serve as key staff liaison to the NCEDSV member programs
Convene members and partners to address specific community issues as necessary
Lead NCEDSV participation in participation in the development of statewide plans with state agencies per ferderal mandate
Participate in funding applications to sustain and advance the program department’s mission
Monitor and report on grant compliance for all program department activities
Direct implementation of NCEDSV Promising Practices manual and program self-assessment tool
Maintain education and understanding of most current research and trends in the field and keep updated all NCEDSV program department material
Serve on statewide committees and advisory boards to improve community responses to sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking
Develope, update and proofread assigned NCEDSV materials for distribution to a variety of stakeholders
Develop and maintain positive relationships with NCEDSV membership, community partners and other stakeholders
Perform other duties as may be necessary or assigned by the Executive Director
Qualification
Required
Understanding of domestic and sexual violence issues, stalking, program service provision, and commitment to ending violence
Understanding the issues of cultural diversity related to domestic and sexual violence intervention as well as in the context of social change work, and the daily work environment
Understanding of the role the Statewide Coalition plays in eliminating domestic and sexual violence, and empowering domestic and sexual violence survivors and their children
Experience working with community based sexual assault and/or domestic violence programs required
Previous experience as a supervisor required
8 years' prior experience in a domestic or sexual violence program
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Administration, Social Work or related humanities field or equivalent combination of lived experience and direct program experience in a domestic or sexual violence program
Experience in implementing grassroots advocacy efforts and social change advocacy
Experience managing and reporting on multiple projects simultaneously
Applicant must have reliable transportation and be willing to use for work related purposes
Preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak one of Nevada's four most common second languages preferred
