The role focuses on managing and growing an established territory in the industrial woodworking space, emphasizing new business development, customer relationship management, and driving sales growth.
Information Services
Responsibilities
Identify and engage new customers; sell industrial equipment, parts, and tooling
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Conduct sales presentations and product demos
Stay current on industry trends, products, and tooling solutions
Meet or exceed sales goals
Manage territory travel (includes regular customer visits and vendor site visits)
Overnight travel required (approx. 4+ weeks/year for training & trade shows; additional as needed)
Collaborate with inside sales and product specialists to support customers
Maintain accurate CRM records
This is field-based position (remote)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of sales experience in industrial equipment, woodworking, or related fields
Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and tools
Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must pass background check and drug test
Preferred
Bachelor's or technical degree preferred, not required
