Assistant Program Coordinator Norwood

As an Assistant Program Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth operation of the program, support children in their daily routines, and create a positive environment for growth and independence.

Responsibilities
Step in as a reliable leader, ensuring the program runs smoothly in the Program Manager’s absence by supervising your team, and coordinating daily activities and programs for all residents
Support children with daily routines including hygiene, meals, dressing, and medication
Create a positive, structured environment that encourages communication, play, and skill-building
Use behavior support strategies to promote emotional regulation and reduce challenging behavior
Partner with clinical, educational, and healthcare teams to support individualized treatment plans
Provide transportation and community integration support for outings, appointments, and school transitions
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 1 year of licensed driving experience
Patience, compassion, and the ability to support children with diverse communication and behavioral needs
Experience with children or individuals with special needs is required
The capacity to provide strong supervisory and leadership skills while supporting and guiding your team with empathy, patience, and respect
