Responsibilities

Act as subject matter expert, providing technical guidance, defining and assigning tasks, and monitoring performance
Develop and implement process improvements, tooling upgrades, and equipment modifications to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality
Manage projects related to new product introduction, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives
Conduct feasibility studies, analyze data, and present recommendations to management on manufacturing-related issues
Mentor and train team members on technical skills, problem-solving techniques, and company procedures
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including engineering, quality, production, and suppliers, to resolve manufacturing challenges and achieve business objectives
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to continuously improve manufacturing operations
Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation
Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment
Performs other duties within scope as assigned

Required

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience
Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
Applicants must be able to work in Ludington, MI without relocation assistance
Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position

Preferred

CNC programming experience, including G‑Code
CAD proficiency, especially AutoCAD
Strong mechanical aptitude
Mastercam programming experience
Relevant technical certifications
3D printing and additive manufacturing experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast paced environment
Capable of working independently while contributing positively to a team
Solid mechanical aptitude with hands on troubleshooting ability
Experience working with aluminum materials and processes
Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CNC Machining, or Precision Machining Technology or similar relevant field of study
