Responsibilities
Define and implement end-to-end test strategy for SAP Finance modules within a greenfield S/4HANA implementation
Establish test scope, objectives, timelines, and entry/exit criteria aligned with project milestones
Coordinate with project managers, business leads, and SAP implementation partners to align testing with program deliverables
Lead preparation and execution of Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Integration testing for SAP Finance
Oversee test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management
Drive test automation opportunities (Tosca, CBTA, or similar tools) and integration with CI/CD pipelines
Ensure test coverage for core SAP Finance areas (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Treasury)
Lead a team of functional and technical testers across global business and IT teams
Act as the primary quality gatekeeper, ensuring business acceptance and compliance
Collaborate with Finance stakeholders, auditors, and compliance teams to validate process readiness
Implement best practices in test governance, risk management, and defect prevention
Provide test metrics and dashboards for leadership reporting and decision-making
Coach junior testers and ensure adherence to testing standards
Qualification
Required
12+ years of SAP testing experience, with at least 6+ years in SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules
Hands-on experience in greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations (Finance-focused)
Strong knowledge of Finance business processes (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Controlling)
Proven expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management using tools such as qTest, HP ALM, or Solution Manager
Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, CBTA, UFT) and integration with CI/CD pipelines
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-vendor, and multi-country environments
Preferred
SAP Finance certification (FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance)
Experience in compliance/regulatory testing (SOX, GDPR, audit-driven testing)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., NeoLoad, JMeter) for Finance workloads
Exposure to Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks
