Responsibilities

Mobilizes patients according to pre-determined levels

Documents in EMR according to guidelines

Employs appropriate durable medical equipment (walker, gait belt) to assist in safe mobility

Observes skin for signs of breakdown and reports to nurse

Performs other duties as assigned

Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct

Required

GED General or High School Diploma General-Preferred

BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support

Minimum 1 year Prior work experience in a health care setting providing direct patient care

Communication Skills High

Customer Service High

Basic knowledge of medical terminology Medium

Physical ability to lift, support and ambulate patients High

Physical ability to perform repeated bending, lifting and ascend/descend stairs High

Preferred
