Responsibilities

Develop, modify, troubleshoot and maintain ABB Bailey Infi90, Emerson DeltaV, and Rockwell PLC control Systems

Modify control system logic to maintain existing and develop new process control functionality

Modify control system interlocks, permissives, alarms, and operator displays for safe and optimized process control

Design, install, and maintain OPC and Modbus interfaces to control systems

Analyze and tune process control loops

Manage and perform control system software upgrades

Manage and perform control system hardware maintenance and upgrades in control rooms and Motor Control Centers

Respond to control system troubleshooting requests after-hours as required, including troubleshooting remotely, and callouts to site

Maintain, develop, modify, and troubleshoot process control support systems: OSI-PI historian, DB-Doc, Advanced process control, SPLIT camera, etc

Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft PCs and Servers

Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Ethernet and ABB Infi-90 networks, including Cisco and Hirschmann switches

Provide visible felt leadership during interaction with other team members and as a salaried staff representative in support of and demonstrating the NGM - DNA (Core Values)

Implement various operational and maintenance alternatives to leverage cost-savings effectively managing forecasted and budgeted expenditures

Provide training and facilitation on root cause failure analysis (RCA), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) with maintenance and operations personnel

Develop Nevada Gold Mines’ Maintenance Procedures, Standards and Specifications focused on sustaining a reliability-culture

Cultivate productive partnerships with key vendors/OEM’s that drive improvement in equipment

Maintain and validate downtime reporting databases and KPI’s

Identify, scope and evaluate reliability improvement projects

Proficiently utilize maintenance operating system (S4-HANA, SAP) to record and report out on maintenance activity in a continuous improvement strategy

Ensure the sustainability of the Condition Monitoring techniques that are to be implemented

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Demonstrated safety leadership capability for both self and team

Excellent leadership, people, and communication skills

Preferred

Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent work experience in a reliability role

Two (2) years practical experience in Operations, preferably in a mobile maintenance mining environment

Strong analytical skills and knowledge of reliability and improvement concepts: RCA, FMEA, RCM, LEAN

Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Condition Monitoring techniques such as: oil and vibration analysis, thermography and/or ultrasonic emissions

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project

Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager
