Sell insurance products to new and existing customers
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
Conduct insurance reviews and present proposals that align with customer goals
Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, and relationship-building
Cross-sell and up-sell additional products when appropriate
Process policy changes accurately and efficiently
Maintain regular communication with customers via phone and email
Provide clear explanations of policies, coverage differences, and carrier options
Ensure timely follow-up on all account-related matters
Maintain required insurance licenses and complete continuing education
Prepare accurate insurance proposals, renewal packages, and documentation
Maintain accurate records and adhere to agency procedures, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
Work closely with agency team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service
Maintain positive working relationships with insurance carrier representatives
Contribute to a supportive, professional, and customer-focused work environment
Provide a 'Wow' customer service experience for team members and customers
Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members, leaders, customers, and vendors
Prompt and reliable attendance is essential to provide expected levels of service
Must comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, including resolving problems or concerns with customers or team members
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
1-3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred
Associates Degree
Active insurance licensing preferred, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
