Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded Linux and bare-metal firmware for radio and networking hardware
Own and improve build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for embedded software
Customize and maintain embedded OS distributions using Yocto, PetaLinux, and/or OpenEmbedded
Build and support unit, regression, and system-level test frameworks
Integrate and debug bootloaders, drivers, and system services on constrained hardware
Use profiling and debugging tools to analyze system performance and reliability
Support system monitoring and diagnostics (e.g., logs, metrics, performance data)
Work closely with hardware, RF, FPGA, and systems engineers to support end-to-end integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Strong experience with embedded Linux and/or bare-metal systems
Infrastructure-focused background: build systems, CI/CD, automation, or tooling
Hands-on experience with at least ONE of the following: Yocto, PetaLinux, OpenEmbedded
Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
Experience working close to hardware (drivers, BSPs, boot flows)
Preferred
Exposure to Xilinx / Zynq / FPGA-based platforms
Familiarity with SDR, networking, or RF-adjacent systems
Experience with secure boot, memory management, or low-level debugging
