The ideal candidate will create and verify numerical control programs from blueprints and 3D models using Unigraphics NX CAD/CAM software, while collaborating with machine shop personnel to ensure high-quality production outcomes.

Responsibilities
Develop, revise, and verify Machine Control Data (MCD) and associated geometry
Create NC programs and provide operator instructions/documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, collect data, and establish technical requirements for manufacturing
Support the integration of new machining methods, manufacturing processes, and equipment
Use Vericut software to verify programs and ensure precision
Work closely with machinists and production teams to ensure first-pass quality and acceptance
Ensure necessary cutting tools and fixtures are available and properly configured
Work under general supervision
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of machinist experience
At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Unigraphics NX CAD/CAM
Proficiency in Vericut verification software
Typically acquired through an Associate degree and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination such as: Bachelor's degree + 1 year related experience, or 5+ years of directly related experience
Preferred
10+ years of machinist experience
10+ years of experience with UG NX CAD/CAM
