Own the technical vision and execution for payments systems, including transaction processing, integrations, and reconciliation
Guide architectural decisions with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and compliance
Ensure high engineering standards through code reviews, testing strategies, and operational best practices
Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical health
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Experience as an Engineering Manager
Experience in Payments systems, including transaction processing, integrations, and reconciliation
Ability to guide architectural decisions with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and compliance
Experience ensuring high engineering standards through code reviews, testing strategies, and operational best practices
Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term technical health
Experience leading, mentoring, and growing a team of software engineers
Ability to foster a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
Preferred
Strong background in FinTech, Banking and Payments
Experience working in a start-up
Proven experience with building from 0 -> 1
