Sr. Business Analyst, Technical Product Management - BI

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, product owners, software engineers, QA, project managers, operations experts, clients, and external vendors to deliver market-leading capabilities supported by ConnectiveRx’s integrated platform services
Lead business requirements discussions with both business and technology stakeholders to ensure user stories are complete and clearly understood
Act as the primary point of contact for reporting and logic questions, serve as a subject matter expert in translating business processes and data into actionable insights, and participate as a member of the sprint team responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the backlog to achieve business value
Coordinate project scoping and planning with cross-functional teams, lead discovery sessions and requirements-gathering activities, and document process flows to identify actors, inputs, outputs, and dependencies
Ensure that software development decisions align with process models, support customer needs through research requests and data pilots, write simple SQL queries to analyze data, review BI dashboards, map business requirements to appropriate database fields, and ensure data integrity across multiple sources
Create mockups and prototypes for user testing and product evaluation, define epics and user stories, support the development of training materials for system enhancements and new applications, and assist with training
Work with customers, operations, technology teams, and vendors to define requirements, specifications, functionality, and acceptance criteria
Work closely with technology teams to define API requirements, interpret and document technical specifications such as data dictionaries and API documentation, prepare and prioritize backlog items for agile ceremonies, refine user stories, and create testable acceptance criteria
Ensure validation methods are in place and promote clear internal communication among software development, project management, product management, and other functional groups

Required

A bachelor's degree is required
5+ years of data analysis; within agile software development SDLC
5+ years of defining and/or building reporting insights in platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker
Working knowledge of technical specifications, such as; APIs, including json, XML, data dictionaries
Proven ability to practice a variety of techniques to ensure complete requirements
Experience in interfacing with clients, operations, Solution Architects and cross functional software teams
Must have: data analytics experience, including SQL
Knowledge of BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, and Power BI are important
Familiarity with healthcare data
Skills required include the ability to manage business expectations with a delivery-focused approach
Strong proficiency in gathering, documenting, and communicating business requirements
Ability to analyze problems and understand complex solutions through collaboration with developers, planning, testing, and reporting
Clear and effective communication in both written and verbal formats is also needed
Key competencies include strong communication abilities, problem-solving skills, technical capacity, collaboration skills, a strong work ethic, and solid interpersonal skills
