Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain software-related user guides and SOPs
Transform existing documentation to support AI chatbot consumption while maintaining human readability
Develop new documentation as required for application enhancements or new features
Collaborate with Requirements Analysts and QA/Testing teams to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness
Use Microsoft Word as the primary authoring tool
Track documentation tasks and updates using Jira
Store, manage, and version documentation using SharePoint
Ensure documentation aligns with SDLC phases and release cycles
Maintain consistency, clarity, and compliance with organizational documentation standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3+ years of Technical Writing experience
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Word as a primary documentation tool
Proven experience creating software-related user guides (not limited to hardware or policy manuals)
Experience updating and transforming existing user guides and SOPs
Ability to create new documentation from scratch when required
Experience using Jira for tracking documentation work and gathering information
Experience working with SharePoint for documentation storage and version control
Preferred
Experience working with Salesforce-based applications
Prior exposure to AI-related documentation, chatbots, or intelligent systems
Experience in the Healthcare or Insurance domain
Familiarity with SDLC processes and software release cycles
