TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is seeking a Tester for their manufacturing operations in Anderson, SC. The Tester will perform various tests and inspections on tools and accessories, ensuring they meet performance and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Capable of starting, using manual or automated means, power equipment

Capable of placing power equipment on a test station and making necessary adjustments to ensure performance and environmental standards are maintained

Dispose of non-conforming material per established procedures

Capable of interpreting and/or completing charts, schedules, reports, forms, and records

Must operate equipment safely and wear specified PPE such as earplugs, safety glasses, etc., as deemed necessary for the safety of the operator, coworkers, and facility

Continuous mental and visual attention requires constant alertness or activity

Maintain equipment in clean and good working order, reporting equipment problems to the supervisor

Strive for continual improvement in departmental processes and functions

Required

Prefer a High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent

Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience or training

PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Use of simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and fractions)

Standing for extended periods of time

Repetitive motion

Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers

Frequent lifting up to 50lbs – team lifts over 50lbs

Able to work in various temperature conditions

No final warnings

No more than six (6) attendance points

Efficiency and Quality goals met for the previous 3 months

Must be in current role for 6+ months
