Responsibilities
Design and architect seamless Workday Financials solutions across the entire suite, from Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report to complex Grants and Project management
Drive the optimization of critical processes including Grants Management (Pre/Post-Award, Effort Certification) and Payroll Reconciliation
Utilize advanced Workday tools (Studio, Prism, Extend, APIs) to address functionality gaps, build robust integrations, and enhance efficiency
Ensure strict adherence to US GAAP and federal grant guidelines, designing security frameworks and FDM structures that support rigorous financial reporting and compliance
Lead large-scale ERP migrations from legacy systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) to Workday, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
Guide to the creation of advanced reports, dashboards, and custom analytics using Prism Analytics to enhance financial visibility and decision-making capabilities
Qualification
Required
Active certification in Workday Financials modules (Core, Banking & Settlements, Grants, etc.) valid through 2025 R1
10+ years in ERP implementations, with 7+ years dedicated specifically to Workday Financials solutions
Advanced knowledge of Workday integration and extension tools (Studio, EIB, BIRT, Prism Analytics, Extend)
Expertise ensuring compliance within the public sector, not-for-profit, and higher education industries
