Responsibilities
Oversee complex family law matters, including divorce, equitable distribution, spousal and child support, child custody, paternity, post-divorce enforcement, and protective orders
Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with colleagues in a collaborative environment
Provide expert legal counsel to clients and represent them in family law cases
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, Case Information Statement and also agreements
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Maintain effective and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Meet minimum billable hours expectations while delivering high-quality work
Qualification
Required
All applicants MUST live in New Jersey
Juris Doctorate and admitted to practice law in New Jersey required
4+ years of experience in Family/Divorce/Matrimonial Law at a law practice in New Jersey
Presently working in the New Jersey Family Law Practice is mandatory
4+ years of excellent writing, research, and courtroom skills
Must be a collaborator with outstanding work ethic
Very Compassionate, empathic, and good listener
