Technical Onboarding Consultant
Anchor is transforming B2B payments with their automated billing and collections platform. The Technical Onboarding Consultant will ensure smooth customer adoption by managing data migration, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve onboarding processes.

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of data translation, modeling, cleansing, and migration to ensure accurate and smooth customer onboardings and migrations
Troubleshoot data and product issues during onboarding and adoption, partnering with CSMs to resolve blockers quickly
Join select customer meetings to provide technical and data-driven insights
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for customers
Act as a liaison across CSMs, Sales, Support, Product, and R&D to ensure alignment on onboarding needs, challenges, and feedback
Identify friction points in onboarding and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, tooling, and automation
Provide technical input that informs product enhancements related to setup, data, and automation
Build, maintain, and deliver training on onboarding playbooks, checklists, templates, and best practices
Document new workflows, create internal tutorials, and support rollout of new onboarding processes and product features
Maintain strong hygiene across internal systems, including HubSpot and onboarding trackers
Own and execute special projects that improve onboarding and adoption operations, customer experience, scalability, and automation
Drive process optimization related to templates, tooling, workflow redesigns, and quality controls
Lead pilots and experiments that reduce onboarding time and improve throughput and outcomes
Collaborate with Product, R&D, and AI teams on automation and operational improvements throughout the onboarding lifecycle
Scope, prioritize, and deliver project outcomes with clear communication and timelines
Stay current on industry trends (accounting, bookkeeping, fractional CFO, professional services) to strengthen customer guidance
Apply domain expertise to help firms optimize billing models and adopt Anchor effectively
Qualification
Required
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience - MUST
Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Technical, or a related field
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data challenges
High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation
Independent, fast learner with a detail-oriented and can-do attitude
Hands-on team player with a passion for process improvement and collaboration
Thrives in a hyper-growth, fast-paced, and uncertain environment
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience with fintech, accounting tools, billing systems, or payments platforms
Experience using or building AI tools (GPTs, workflows, automation)
Experience in onboarding, implementation, or technical consulting roles
