Amentum is a company supporting the Department of State (DoS) Embassy contract, and they are seeking a Human Resources Supervisor. This role involves partnering with local managers to implement HR strategies, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality assurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace

Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals

Collaborate with Sr. HR Manager to provide HR guidance and coaching to managers and personnel

Participate in and lead employee relations investigations and support program leadership with corrective action decisions that align with both company and program practices

Facilitate on-site management training and coaching sessions

Assist in the development and improvement of HR procedures, guidelines in coordination with the Sr. HR Manager

Monitor the recruitment process with specific emphasis of key personnel positions. This also includes monitoring and advance notification of upcoming vacancies to Program Management

Monitor the entire HR function including leave/travel, performance management, and employee engagement

Has oversight of the onboarding process. This includes ensuring managers assign a buddy for all new hires, and monitoring arrival and reception, new hire orientation meetings and badging

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum five (5) yrs of experience in human resources supporting a large multi-national/multi-cultural workforce

Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience

Successful management of multiple sites in geographically dispersed location

2-5 years of solid employee relations/investigative experience

Knowledge and experience in independently assessing and resolving simple to complex employee relations issues

Knowledge and experience in writing work instructions or standard operating procedures (SOP's)

Sound knowledge and experience in human resources management principles: recruitment & selection, performance management, learning & development, succession planning, compensation and benefits, Human Resources Information Systems, and HR data and analytics

Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports

Experience in effectively dealing with international and headquarters staff, and sensitivity to other cultures

Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel

Proficiency with Microsoft Office professional software and ability to quickly adapt to new systems

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field. HR accredited certificate will be accepted in lieu

Successfully complete a medical examination as required by Amentum and the customer for deployment to Iraq

Must maintain standards of health throughout the deployment

US citizenship

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance
