They are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all warehouse and logistics activities across multiple sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving, storage, internal material movement, and shipping across two locations. Possible performance metrics include on-time shipping/receiving performance, dock schedule adherence, and workflow efficiency

Align warehouse operations, transportation schedules, dock capacity, and freezer space availability with production plans. Possible performance metrics include material availability to production and space utilization

Ensure safe operation of powered industrial trucks and warehouse equipment. Possible performance metrics include safety incident rates and certification compliance

Oversee proper shipping, receiving and storage labeling, FIFO rotation, traceability, and storage practices. Possible performance metrics include FIFO compliance and reduction in product loss

Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and audit-ready conditions in compliance with SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards

Monitor inventory levels to support uninterrupted distribution. Possible performance metrics include inventory accuracy and cycle count completion

Oversee accurate receiving, shipping, and system transactions

Lead cycle counts and inventory audits; reconcile discrepancies

Monitor warehouse and freezer capacity and support corrective action plans

Manage shipping and receiving dock schedules and carrier appointments. Possible performance metrics include appointment adherence and dock turnaround time

Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams

Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for SQF compliance

Escalate logistics disruptions and support resolution efforts

Lead, schedule, and supervise warehouse and logistics associates

Train employees on operations, safety, food safety, and equipment usage

Maintain PIT certifications and support cross-training

Conduct performance coaching and disciplinary actions per HR policy

Required

High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to operate powered industrial equipment

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays

Ability of adjusting or moving objects of varying weights up to 50 lbs. in all directions

Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them

Ability to withstand various climates through the facility i.e. freezer, dock, production (as low as -15 degrees up to 110 degrees) as well as normal warehouse/dock conditions

Ability to work in an environment with flashing lights, horns, and powered moving equipment operating in proximity

Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another

Able to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away excellent hand/eye coordination

Adaptability to work in diverse environments and surfaces

Wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed

Stand and move around the warehouse for a minimum of 8 hours
